Welcome to DeLuca-Hoffman Associates, Inc. We are a traditional civil engineering firm located in South Portland, Maine providing broad based civil and environmental engineering services throughout Maine and northern New England since 1986. Our 31 person staff include; seasoned professional engineers, a registered landscape architect, CADD technicians, construction monitors and administrative support personnel.

DeLuca-Hoffman Associates, Inc. has earned an excellent reputation for sound engineering design and a thorough commitment to excellence in all aspects of services performed. This commitment has allowed the form to grow and maintain long standing relationships with many clients since the firm’s inception in 1986. These relationships have been built and maintained through the specific involvement of the Principals and Senior Level Engineers on all projects. This commitment to provide experienced project oversight will insure the highest level of quality of work and performance.

DeLuca-Hoffman Associates, Inc. serves a diverse base of municipal and private clients. Typical municipal clients have included the Cities of Portland, Saco, and Westbrook; and the Towns of Arundel, Falmouth, Gorham, Kennebunk and Scarborough. Other Public Section clients include the Maine Bureau of General Services and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.

Private clients include Hannaford Bros. Co. of Scarborough, Maine; Dead River Properties of Portland, Maine; Berman Associates, of Portland, Maine; and Plum Creek Timber Co.

The firm is frequently engaged by architects to prepare site plans and assist in permitting for various projects in the fields of education, healthcare and housing. DeLuca-Hoffman Associates, Inc. is continually seeking to grow these collaborative relationships on new and exciting projects.

Despite a troubled economy and low consumer confidence DeLuca-Hoffman Associates, Inc. remains optimistic on the future of both public and private development and infrastructure improvement activity.

Current construction conditions favor lower construction costs thus serving as a catalyst to jump start the economic engine.
