Design Engineer (0-2 years experience)
Basic requirements include Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field with the ability to obtain FE registration within the first year. This position will include the introduction to the technical elements of site development and municipal projects and generally include preparation of technical design plans, computations and computer modeling to support permitting efforts. This candidate will work under the immediate direction of a Senior Engineer with direct support from CADD technicians and clerical staff. Our firm utilizes and actively maintains the latest and most comprehensive design software to support the design work of the design engineer. This position includes exposure to a variety of design projects including hydrologic analysis, storm water and sanitary sewer collection system design, hydraulic analysis, roadway geometric design and preparation of opinion of costs. This is an ideal position for preparing candidates for the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam and licensure as a Professional Engineer.
AutoCAD and Microsoft office skills are desired.
